TCA2I AI Summit Forum | TechConnect-2025

The Technocraft Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (TCA2I), IIT Bombay, successfully conducted the AI Summit Forum as part of TechConnect-2025 at IIT Bombay.

The forum focused on real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence in digital transformation, with deliberations on AI-driven advancements in 5G, cybersecurity, enterprise-focused Generative AI, agentic AI, and responsible AI practices.

The Summit commenced with an overview of TCA2I initiatives by Wg Cdr Rohan Chandak (Retd.), Program Director, TCA2I, followed by a presentation on research focus areas by Prof. Manjesh Hanawal, PIC – TCA2I.

Key sessions included Management Simulations by Prof. T. T. Niranjan, Professor, Maastricht University, Netherlands; insights on Defence Innovations by Col. Ritesh Chandra, Indian Army; and a Fireside Chat featuring Wg Cdr Samvedna Chaudhary, Pipeline Infra Limited. The forum also featured an industry perspective on AI and Blockchain by Mr. Vivek Tikkoo, ChainX Labs.

The AI Summit Forum served as a platform for meaningful academia-industry-defence interaction, reinforcing TCA2I’s commitment to advancing applied, responsible, and impactful AI research.
