Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, New Delhi

The agreement is between Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi. IITB, an Institute of National Importance, focuses on applied artificial intelligence through Technocraft Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (TCA2I). ILBS, established by the Government of Delhi, aims to become a global center of excellence for liver and biliary diseases diagnosis, management, training, and research in Hepato-biliary Sciences. The agreement commenced on January 11, 2024, and will be valid for 5 years.

Defence

Military Institute of Technology

Enhance collaboration in AI research, skill development, training, and product development. Detail collaboration modes like knowledge management and development programs, emphasizing AI/ML for defense. Provide MILIT personnel training via workshops and courses, along with faculty and management development. Collaborate in knowledge and technology creation, enhancing skills for defense personnel. Adhere to IIT Bombay’s cost structure for outreach programs.

College of Defence Management

IIT Bombay and the College of Defence Management Secunderabad (CDM) signed an MoU to collaborate on research projects in multidisciplinary aspects of Defence management and security studies. Prof. Subhasis Chaudhari (Director, IITB) and Rear Admiral Sanjay Datt (Commandant, CDM) signed the agreement.

Indian Naval Tactical Evaluation Group

IITB and INTEG have signed a MoU on 15 July 2024 for various research projects and trainings. The MoU was signed by Dean R&D IITB and Director INTEG in the presence of VSM FODC and TCA2I COO.

The collaboration will focus on development of a module for operational logistics, digitization of records, various faculty development programs etc.

INTEG and IITB have collaborate on research projects of mutual interest on themes related to multidisciplinary aspects having applications in Defence, particularly Indian Navy, including providing technical expertise in development of operations research models for INTEG Project studies. IITB and INTEG have collaborated to offer training and orientation programmes for capacity building and skill enhancement of the officers of the Defence forces of India.

Metavian Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Joint Projects between IIT Bombay and METAVIAN encompass consultancy, research, development, internship, and intellectual property licensing. Consultancy involves IITB faculty offering expertise, while research projects focus on generating new knowledge. Development projects target collaborations on government, defense, and industry projects. Internship programs provide hands-on exposure for IITB students. Ecosystem development includes IITB faculty as visiting scientists, course facilities, collaborative research initiatives, and setting up precompetitive consortia. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.

CloudMojo Tech Pvt. Ltd.

Joint Projects between IIT Bombay and CLOUDMOJO comprise consultancy, research, development, internship, and intellectual property licensing. Consultancy involves IITB faculty offering expertise to industry-specific problems. Research projects focus on generating new knowledge, limited to Proof of Concept (PoC) or research outcomes. Development projects target collaborations on government, defense, and industry initiatives, with revenue sharing determined case-by-case. Internship programs offer hands-on experience for IITB students, while licensing opportunities for intellectual property are explored. Ecosystem development includes faculty as visiting scientists, course facilities, collaborative research, precompetitive consortia, and sponsorship opportunities.

Databeat Pvt. Ltd. Hyderabad

The June 21, 2024 agreement in Mumbai between Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Databeat Private Limited (DATABEAT) establishes a three-year MOU. It aims to promote interaction and provide a formal basis for collaboration. IITB, through its Research Centre TCA2I, and DATABEAT plan to partner in knowledge creation, technology development, and human resource development. They also aim to undertake long-term research projects in current, emerging, and futuristic areas, focusing on Proof of Concept (PoC) and research outcomes in the form of reports/papers. Additionally, internship programs will be initiated at IITB to provide students with hands-on experience at DATABEAT for a fixed term, based on availability.

Technosoft

The collaboration between Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and Technosoft Engineering Projects Limited marks an important step towards fostering innovation and technological advancement. This partnership aims to promote knowledge sharing, joint projects, and ecosystem development, specifically in areas like AI/ML-based vision solutions, plant simulation, and semiconductor equipment design. The focus will be on leveraging cutting-edge technologies like deep learning to enhance production efficiency and stability. Both parties are committed to exploring new hardware solutions and optimizing digital processes using AI/ML algorithms. The collaboration will also provide opportunities for students and professionals to engage in real-world projects, internships, and advanced research. By working together, IITB and Technosoft aim to drive progress in industrial applications and make significant contributions to technology development. This MOU represents a non-exclusive agreement, allowing both institutions to explore additional collaborations with other entities as well. The key objective is to integrate academic excellence with industry expertise to deliver innovative solutions

This Agreement is made between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), located in Powai, Mumbai, and Lexlegis.ai, with its office at Tulsiani Chambers, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The purpose of this Agreement is to facilitate the exchange of information related to “AI and Generative LLM” for research purposes.
Lexiegis.ai is a technology company specializing in AI-driven solutions, focusing on generative AI and machine learning applications.
This Agreement is valid for three years, with confidentiality obligations continuing for two years after its termination.

ASM Technologies Ltd.

This Agreement is made between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and ASM Technologies Ltd., headquartered at 80/2, Lusanne Court, Richmond Road, Bangalore.
ASM Technologies Ltd. is a global technology and engineering services company specializing in product engineering, digital transformation, and emerging technologies such as AI and IoT.
ASM Technologies Ltd. And IITB wish to exchange information pertaining to “products and services in the area of Vajra software testing”.

Institute

Nath School of Business and Technology (NSBT).

This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is established between the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), represented by the Technocraft Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (TCAAI), and Nath School of Business and Technology (NSBT), to promote mutual collaboration. The purpose of this MoU is to enhance engagement in areas of skill development, training, research, and product development in Applied AI. Through this partnership, IITB and NSBT will engage in knowledge sharing, collaborative projects, and ecosystem development to bridge academia and industry. This includes collaborative efforts in new technology exploration, capacity building, and leveraging each other’s expertise. Joint projects will cover consultancy, research, and industry-related development projects. Intellectual property generated from these initiatives will be jointly owned, with specific agreements defining its use. This MoU is non-exclusive, allowing both parties to pursue additional collaborations. The collaboration aims to foster innovation, equip professionals with industry-relevant skills, and support advancements in AI technology.
