The Technocraft Centre for Applied Artificial Intelligence (TCA2I) along with Industrial Research and Consultancy Centre had organized the “Industry Day 2025” on 10th May 2025, focusing on the theme of “Empowering Enterprises with Decision Support Systems (DSS).” This event aimed at bringing together professionals from industry, academia, government, and startups to discuss and showcase the role of decision support systems in driving data-informed strategies and operations.

Throughout the day, participants engaged in meaningful dialogue on how AI-driven DSS is transforming key sectors such as manufacturing, supply chain management, healthcare, finance, infrastructure, and smart cities. The event featured keynote sessions by leading experts, panel discussions on contemporary challenges and opportuni
ties, research presentations by scholars/students and live demonstrations of DSS tools developed indigenously and from the ground up at TCA2I.

Industry Day serves as a platform to foster collaboration between academia and industry, enabling knowledge exchange and the co-creation of practical solutions for complex decision-making environments. It also provides an opportunity for stakeholders to explore future partnerships, research directions, and policy frameworks to strengthen India’s capabilities in applied artificial intelligence.
