Dr. Prasad Ramanathan

Dr. Prasad Ramanathan is the CTO of TIH at IIT Bombay. He brings over 32 years of industrial experience having worked at organizations like Capgemini, Honeywell, GE to name a few. He is a technology leader and previously at senior directorship level leading projects and delivering solutions across Automation, Analytics and AI/ML techniques. Dr. Prasad leads industry–academia technology collaborations and engagement initiatives, providing orientation and insights to diplomats, international delegations, and government bodies across sectors such as agriculture, fintech, and healthtech. He has a passion for teaching and actively contributes to industry-academic collaborations at various institutions including BITS Pilani and NMIMS University. He completed his Ph.D. in engineering from The Ohio State University in 1993.
